Providing space for Christian creatives & people in pastoral ministry to retreat and be restored in a contemplative setting.
With your help, our goal is to host eight to nine families in ministry who are on the edge of burnout per year for a Sabbath rest.
We also want to host a small church’s pastoral staff dinner every quarter as prevention against burnout.
Help us in paying a worship leader whom we have vetted to sub for current worship pastors in small churches in Georgia to give them a Sabbath rest.
Zach and Tori Morgan

In the book Hind’s Feet on High Places, the crippled Much Afraid is continuously beaten down by her relatives who tell her how little she is worth and that she can't possibly do the things the Good Shepherd is inviting her to do. It is only in time spent with the Good Shepherd that she gains the strength to climb where He is inviting her up into the high places.
Sabbath rest is sometimes thought of as inactivity, but in it are the activities of healing, restoration, and rejuvenation. So important was rest to God himself, that He commanded us to observe the Sabbath as Holy. There is purpose in this kind of rest.
We, at the Copper Cabin Company, strive to be a place where time is slowed enough to allow God to pour a little more of himself into a crippled heart, beaten down by the world, so that it can reach the high places of God. Shelter, shade, a warm fireplace, a set table, a walk in the woods, or a ready ear: all of these are meant to give the child of God strength for the climb.

Juan and Melodee DeVevo have been touring with the band Casting Crowns for over 20 years. Their unique lives have connected them with musicians, church staff, and entertainers. That connection has given them a heart for making a place of restoration for God's ministers that have come to a place of need and are searching to be filled again.

We partner with The Becoming Academy. The curriculum and its founder, Kerry Hasenbalg, have been, and continue to be, an inspiration for our spiritual growth, and reaching people to help them do the same.

Your tax deductible donation will be used to help those in Christian ministry who are on the edge of burnout. Help us meet our goal for 2026 of $134,600.
